J. McQuade (Chuck Norris) is a true Texas Ranger, known as a lone wolf in El Paso, who wants to get things done in his rough way.

For this reason, although he is very successful in fighting criminals, his superior is not exactly thrilled about it and tries to slow him down, which is difficult for the law enforcement officer to tolerate.

Furthermore, he is assigned the newcomer Kayo, who initially proves to be simply annoying.

After McQuade's daughter's boyfriend is shot dead in the street and she herself is hospitalized with serious injuries, Kayo suddenly proves to be extremely helpful because he finds a delivery slip, which allows him and McQuade to kidnap a middleman in a warehouse who tells them about large-scale arms dealing, which was also the reason for the attack on an army convoy, in which McQuade's descendant was ultimately affected and her boyfriend was killed.

Ultimately, the terrorist businessman Rawley Wilkes is behind it all, taking McQuade's daughter hostage.

Thus, the Texas Ranger, along with Kayo and FBI agent Jackson, sets off to settle the score once and for all.
