After Casey Bowman (Scott Adkins) eliminated all of the Koga Dojo's rivals and avenged his former Sensei for his death, he now runs the training facility and is married to the Sensei's pregnant daughter, Namiko (Mika Hijii).
Thus, one might get the impression that things are going perfectly for the two of them, but this is only short-lived, as they are struck by a massive blow of fate within moments, because when Casey goes shopping for his wife one night and returns, she is suddenly lying murdered on the floor.
During Namiko's funeral, Casey's old friend Nakabara (Kane Kosugi) appears and suggests that they come to Thailand together to distract themselves with training.
After the widower has settled in, another murder occurs, this time involving a student of Nakabara whose injuries have identical characteristics to Namiko's and are distinguished by evenly distributed wounds on the neck.
When Casey and Nakabara have a conversation about this, he reveals to the widower that a drug mogul named Goro, who is up to no good in Burma, could be responsible.
For this reason, Casey travels there and decimates one by one of Goro's followers until only the boss himself remains, to free him from this world as well.
However, when the widower returns to Thailand and talks to Nakabara, he realizes that Goro was not behind the murders.
Thus, a final battle ensues, allowing only one victor and survivor!
