On a Caribbean island, the struggle over a planned power plant escalates. The locals fiercely resist, but the vengeful island goddess Papaya intervenes with supernatural power. One by one, those involved in the construction project die gruesome deaths. Engineer Vincent and his girlfriend Sarah witness disturbing cannibalistic rituals and are drawn into a maelstrom of madness, violence, and death. Soon, the bloodthirsty goddess of love sets her sights on them as well. Can they escape the island's deadly curse?

Joe D'Amato, a name many associate with hardcore horror films and sexploitation, mixes sex with cannibals in this work into a crazy cocktail that should appeal to every lover of Italian cinema.
